Minutes from 8/25/08 Meeting
 

Schools represented at the meeting were Beaver, Buffalo, Fort Supply, Laverne, Shattuck, Turpin, and Hardesty. 

The incoming president, Janie Waugh (Buffalo), presided over the meeting. The treasurer’s report was submitted later and the conference has $467.17 as a beginning balance for the 2008-2009 year. Each participating school will be sending its dues of $75.00 for membership.

James Cooksey (Texhoma) was elected Vice-President/Secretary.  There were no changes to the constitution, and the 2008 tournament dates/locations were set.

The banquet will be held at Texhoma High School at 6:30 on Monday, December 1, 2008.

The same testing company, The Question Bank, that was used last year will be used for this year also. Janie will order and distribute the tournament questions to the hosting schools.

Discussion was held considering the idea of having the next meeting through ITV. It will work with OPSU if the conference communication will begin earlier in August. This idea will be discussed via e-mail this spring.
